Over time, even the best racquet strings
will lose their tension, potentially affecting
the performance of the racquet. If your strings
are broken, or are showings signs of wear and
tear, it is probably time for a restring.
Rapid

personal service to players of West Lothian &
Edinburgh. We collect and return racquets in
Edinburgh (West End) on Mondays and Thursdays at
around 5.30pm.

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION |
PLEASE NOTE: We do not provide a collection and delivery service.
However you can drop your racquet with me at home (Kirknewton), my office during lunch time (Bankhead Crossway, Sighthill) or at my regular Edinburgh collection and returns outside Fraser's (West End) every Monday and Thursday from around 5pm until 5.30pm. |
Strings should hold their tension for at least 6
months after which they should be regularly
checked.
You should restring when tension has noticeably
reduced. As a rule of thumb, the number of
times you play a week should be the number of
times you restring per year. If you play
twice a week then you should restring every six
months.
Please note that should a crack be found in the
frame of the racquet it can still be restrung,
if the owner desires it and accepts that the
restring will be carried out at their own risk.
